St George Chapel

St George Chapel is extremely popular for the smaller wedding parties. Located within the grounds of St George Hotel this phenomenal venue has interior frescos that give an amazing backdrop for the ceremony photographs. Architecurally built in a traditional Greek Church this venue is extremely picturesque.

Being an intimate and small venue it only holds 30 persons seated and a maximum of 35 persons if some stand. Please note that due to the entrance steps as the Chapel is elevated wheelchairs are not suitable.

St George Chapel can hold both Anglican and Catholic wedding services both lasting approximately 20 minutes. An Anglican service will be held by a UK Church registrar. The Church would prefer that at least one of the wedding couple have been christened however if you have not been baptised/christened or do not regularly attend a church, you can still be married by us. The Church will also marry divorced couples. For a Catholic service to be legal in Cyprus a wedding ceremony must be conducted at Paphos Town Hall prior to the Catholic wedding. The Catholic service is also performed by Church officials from the UK. It is a requirement to have a meeting with the officials prior to the wedding day and With This Ring will organise this for you.

Please note that Anglican services can be held between 1pm and 5pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Catholic services can be held between 1pm and 5pm Monday and Tuesday.

Ayia Kyriaki Weddings

Ayia Kyriaki Church, commonly known as St Paul’s Pillar is one of the most popular venues for a church wedding in Paphos. Located in the heart of Kato Paphos close to Paphos Harbour this amazing Byzantine-style church is steeped in tradition, built around the 13th century Ayia Kyriaki is famous as it is surrounded by Roman ruins and mosaics hence being a famous archaeological sites in Cyprus.

This stunning venue can hold up to 100 guests and is wheel chair friendly.

Ayia Kyriaki can hold both Anglican and Catholic wedding services both lasting approximately 20 minutes. An Anglican service will be held by a UK Church registrar. The church would prefer that at least one of the wedding couple have been christened however if you have not been baptised/christened or do not regularly attend a church, you can still be married by us. Our wish is simply, that you should be comfortable with the Christian faith. The Church will also marry divorced couples. For a Catholic service to be legal in Cyprus a wedding ceremony must be conducted at Paphos Town Hall prior to the Catholic wedding. The Catholic service is also performed by Church officials from the UK. It is a requirement to have a meeting with the officials prior to the wedding day and With This Ring will organise this for you.

Ayia Kyriaki also offers a small Choir upon request. The choir has a range of 4 part anthems suitable for your wedding ceremony and can be sung as the bride enters, signing of the certificates and leaving the Church. There is an extra charge made by the Church for this of €175.00. A soloist can also be provided to sing during the signing of the certificates, price upon request.

St Nikolas

St Nicholas’ Chapel Weddings

St Nicholas’ Chapel is found close to the beach close and the glittering Mediterranean Sea. The interior is breathtaking as the walls and ceilings are covered in frescoes. Originally built as a Greek Orthodox Chapel the Greek Orthodox Church have agreed to hold both Anglican and Catholic weddings at this amazing venue.

Panagia Odigitria

Panagia Odigitria Church is the epiphany of tradition, built in the 12th century externally made of stone taken from the ruins of Aphrodite’s temple. Surrounding are stone made arches that today in slight ruin it testifies that once there was possibly a monastery in this place. Located surrounded by fields it is such a peaceful tranquil church.

Inside the Church is enriched with hagiographies, biography of saints and a traditional simple wooden icon screen plus frescoes saved from 16th century.
